You and a partner will interview one another and create a newsletter about one another.
In order to create a newsletter you will need to use articles written by you, graphics, pictures, and newsletter formatting techniques.



Use the following guidelines to create your newsletter:

    Interview student partner using the following questions as a guide.
  1. What are your interests?
  2. What do you care most about? Why?
  3. Who is important to you? Why?
  4. What is your favorite word? Why?
  5. What would you most like to change about yourself? Why?
  6. How have you grown as a learner at Crossroads?
  7. Where do you see yourself in 15 years?
  8. A successful person is...
  9. If there was a book written about you, what would the title be?
  10. Our mind is...
  11. It is always a good time for...
  12. A leader is...
  13. I am______. (Interviewee fills in the blank.)
    Format like a newsletter
  1. Computer Studies bar
  2. Use line tool to separate sections (2+)
  3. Text boxes with consistent widths (2 or 3 columns)
  4. All images must match column widths (single or double width).
  5. One small text box with gray fill color containing a brief interviewee quote of wisdom (The world is..., People are...., Life is...) or Pull-Quote (see example for explanation).
    Content - Newsletter about person you interviewed
  1. Write (2 or 3) articles about the person you interviewed. Write as though you are a reporter.
  2. Original Title for newsletter
  3. Graphic - create or find a graphic to use with your title bar
  4. Subtitle explaining purpose of newsletter
  5. Written by...
  6. Date written out in correct format
  7. Image(s) within text
