All About Me Presentation

Learning Targets:

• I can create an autobiographical PowerPoint (or Keynote) presentation.
• I can use my PowerPoint (or Keynote) presentation as a tool to present to an audience.

We often need to present information to other people. Using PowerPoint (or Keynote) is one extremely helpful way to organize and present information. We are going to create a slide show presentation and present to the class.

Part 1: Create the presentation.

LEARN:
PowerPoint Skills - Basics: Learn the four basic skills that are necessary to create a PowerPoint presentation.

PowerPoint Skills - Animation: Learn how to animate objects.

PowerPoint Skills - Transitions: Learn how to add transition effects to your slides.

Transparent Images: Delete backgrounds so that they are "see through."

PROJECT: All About Me Instructions (pdf) Download and use this checklist to guide you through the requirements for each slide and the presentation.

Part 2: Present to the class.

Each student will present their PowerPoint to the class.
Students will be evaluated for Clarity, Pronunciation, Volume, and Confidence.

Additionally, we will discuss aesthetic (visual) quality of the presentations from an audience's point-of-view.
