Enrollment Zone

The Crossroads School is a Baltimore City Charter school located at 802 South Caroline Street on the campus of the Living Classrooms Foundation. The only requirement for enrollment is that our families are Baltimore City residents.

Our school generally serves students in the communities of southeast Baltimore City defined by the following boundaries: Ashford Avenue (north), Kenwood Avenue (east), the harbor (south), President Street (west). These communities include:

  • Butcher's Hill
  • McElderry Park
  • Middle East
  • Perkins Homes
  • Pleasant View
  • Upper Fells Point
  • Washington Hill
We traditionally recruit students from the following feeder elementary schools, but The Crossroads School is a city-wide school and will accept applications from any student who is a city resident and is able to arrive to school on time:
  • City Springs Elementary (#8)
  • Commodore John Rodgers Elementary (#27)
  • General Wolfe Elementary (#23)
  • Thomas G. Hayes Elementary (#102)

Although there are no entrance criteria for students, enrollment is limited to 50 students per grade level. If student interest exceeds available enrollment, a lottery will be held to select students.
